We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team!

Hospital Details

Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR, is a 65-bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Our patients often require additional critical care services for complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular issues, stroke, amputation, and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer a fast-paced and friendly environment where you can develop close relationships with your patients and their families.

Responsibilities

Assist the Physical Therapist in providing Physical Therapy services, including treatment, program planning, implementation, documentation, and communication. Work under the supervision of a Physical Therapist and follow physician orders.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred; previous hospital experience is a plus.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
• Proficiency with computer and software applications relevant to the role.
• Freedom from illegal drug use and effects of substance abuse in the workplace.
