Position Details:

CommuniCare Rehab, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, has a PRN opening for a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Blue Pointe Healthcare Center. Our therapists are In-House Team Members. This role offers a chance to make a direct impact with residents through therapy. CommuniCare is a rapidly growing company with 170 centers across IN, MD, MO, OH, PA, VA, WV.

Qualifications:

  • A Physical Therapy Assistant Degree from an Accredited Program
  • Hold a valid or pending State Physical Therapy Assistant License

Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Verifies client information by interviewing client; reviewing and/or recording medical history; confirming purpose of treatment
  • Helps clients improve their quality of life by helping them compensate for limitations, such as aiding injured workers, teaching independence, and increasing mobility
  • Implements treatment plans through direct treatment, collaboration with Physical Therapists, and education of team members and families
  • Opportunity to work at multiple centers, serving a wide variety of patient needs
