Responsibilities

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a secure setting as part of a team.
2. Implement patients' Care Plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist, aiding mentally and physically impaired patients in tasks to restore and enhance performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct patients’ families or nursing staff in follow-up programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work area in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct, Compliance policies, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program culminating in an Associate Degree.
2. Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
3. CPR certification (if required).
