Job summary

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital ARU in Arroyo Grande, California, is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) for an acute rehabilitation unit. This per diem role offers a wage scale of $28.00-$50.00 per hour and the chance to contribute to patient mobility and independence under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsibilities include administering PT interventions, assisting in exercise programs, monitoring patient responses, documenting progress, and maintaining a safe, clean treatment

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from PTA program.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• Current PTA license in state of practice.
• CPR certification required.

How you'll contribute

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

Essential Functions

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
