Job summary

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team. We offer full-time or PRN opportunities to support a dedicated care team in a skilled nursing/rehab setting located on a picturesque campus.

You will work under supervision of a PT and collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to deliver high-quality patient care. We value a person-centered atmosphere, opportunities for professional growth, and a supportive work environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of a PT according to state guidelines.
• Document progress in daily treatment notes and complete required documentation.
• Document treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members.
• Implement and conduct treatment as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor treatments as per physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to improve residents' quality of life.

Physical Therapist Assistant Job Responsibilities:

• The Physical Therapist Assistant will provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.

• Document their treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.

• Physical Therapy Assistant will monitortheir treatments as indicated by the physician orders.
• Participate in implementation of resident care plans.
• Will work with interdisciplinary team to improve residents quality of life by providing optimal care and address care plans.

Education/Experience

• Must provide current license and/or registration as Physical Therapist Assistant.
