Job summary

The Horsham Center for Jewish Life is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our in-house therapy team as a full-time or PRN member. The PTA will provide comprehensive treatment under supervision of a PT and document patient progress in line with state guidelines.

Candidates must hold a current PTA license/registration and work within an interdisciplinary team to enhance residents’ quality of life and care plans.

Qualifications

• Must provide current PTA license/registration.
• Must be able to work under the supervision of a licensed PT.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT in accordance with state guidelines.
• Document progress in daily treatment notes and complete required documentation per state guidelines.
• Document treatments and follow up with interdisciplinary team members for best practice.
• Implement and conduct treatments as outlined in the treatment plan.
• Monitor treatments as indicated by physician orders and participate with resident care plans.
