Job summary
The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team in New York. The candidate should hold a current PTA license and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently, with a passion for geriatric care.
In this role you will assist the PT with mobility-focused therapies, help promote wellness, and implement functional activities to improve residents' quality of life in a compassionate SNF
Qualifications
- Active license as Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
- Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.
- Experience in geriatric care or SNF setting preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility and relieve pain.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
