Job summary
The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric care team. The PTA will assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, and promote overall wellness in a skilled nursing setting.
Applicants must hold an active PTA license in the state, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and demonstrate passion for improving residents' experiences.

Job description
Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
