Job summary
The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset in Patchogue, NY is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled nursing team. The PTA will work under supervision to assist with mobility, pain relief, and functional activities for geriatric residents.
Qualified candidates hold an active PTA license in New York, enjoy a collaborative team, and are committed to improving residents' quality of life through hands-on therapy and evidence-based interventions.
Qualifications
- Must hold a current NY PTA license.
- SNF experience preferred but not required.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Assist the PT with therapies designed to improve mobility, relieve pain, prevent or limit permanent physical disability and promote overall fitness and wellness in a skilled nursing facility.
