The Hamlet Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center at Nesconset is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing setting. The PTA will collaborate with the PT to help residents improve mobility, reduce pain, and participate in functional activities on a daily basis.

Qualified candidates must hold a valid state PTA license and be able to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

Qualifications

• Must possess a license in the state of practice.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat residents independently without direct supervision.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
