Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join Lifepoint Rehabilitation. The PTA will implement treatment plans under a supervising therapist in LTACH/SNF settings at the same location, with 3–4 days per week and flexible weekday/weekend/holiday scheduling.

Applicants should hold an associate's PTA degree, an active PTA license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree; PTA program required.
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of practice.
• BLS certification is required.
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred.

How you'll contribute

A dedicated and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) responsible for implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising Physical Therapist. This role involves applying appropriate therapeutic modalities, monitoring patient responses, and providing timely updates on progress or needed adjustments to treatment goals. The PTA documents all services rendered and educates patients and their families or caregivers about physical deficits and recovery strategies. Additional duties include supporting discharge planning, advising on adaptive equipment, and connecting patients to community support resources. Strong critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure with minimal supervision are essential for success in this position.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have

• Associate's degree; Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required
• Current Physical Therapy Assistant license in state of practice
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Rehab or acute care experience preferred

Hourly range: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
