Job summary

Vibra Healthcare seeks an outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Florence, KY team. You will assist the Physical Therapist in delivering PT services, including treatment planning, documentation, and follow-up under physician orders.

The role supports department leadership with scheduling, mentoring, and performance improvement. Qualified candidates hold an active PTA license in Kentucky, current BLS certification, and typically have at least one year of experience; hospital setting

Qualifications

• Current, valid PTA license in the state of employment.
• BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor.
• One year of experience preferred; hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to maintain professional image and comply with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering PT services, including treatment planning and implementation.
• Document care and communicate with team; follow physician orders.
• Support department management with scheduling, mentoring, competency assessment, and shift oversight.

Responsibilities

Responsible for assisting the Physical Therapist in the provision of Physical Therapy services to patients, including treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication. Functions under a Physical Therapist and per physician orders. Supports department management in various administrative/leadership duties including but not limited to, scheduling, mentoring of new staff, competency assessment, performance improvement and shift oversight.

Required Skills

• Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment required.
• Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.

Additional Qualifications/Skills

• One (1) year of experience preferred.
• Previous Hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to project a professional image.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
• Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
• Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
