Job summary

Vibra Hospital of Western Massachusetts, part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation, seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support LTACH and SNF/subacute settings within the same building. Work under a licensed therapist to provide hands-on care, adapt treatment plans, and help patients reach higher independence and function.

Must have an Associate's degree and a current state license, plus BLS. Rehab or acute care experience is preferred. Hourly range: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in OT aide program and credentialed COTA.
  • Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant license in state of practice.
  • BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on patient care under OT supervision.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans to improve function.
  • Support patients in achieving independence and activities of daily living.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
  • Educate patients and families; maintain accurate clinical documentation.

How you'll contribute

Join our rehabilitation team as a COTA serving patients across both a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) and Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)/subacute setting, all conveniently located within the same building. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide hands-on patient care, implement individualized treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their highest level of independence and function. You'll collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, educate patients and caregivers, maintain accurate clinical documentation, and contribute to a patient-centered environment focused on quality outcomes and exceptional care. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population while gaining experience across multiple post-acute care settings.

What we're looking for

Applicants should have
