Job summary

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Lancaster, PA seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our skilled therapy team. This is an in-house position with opportunities in a resident-centered long-term care environment under supervision of an RPT.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT).
• Implement and modify physical therapy treatment plans with PT guidance.
• Measure and document residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor resident responses to therapy and adjust interventions as needed.
• Observe residents and complete progress reports.
• Accurately document treatments, resident status changes, and other required information.
• Communicate therapy needs and referrals to the Registered Physical Therapist.
