Job summary

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a full-time day shift. The role involves providing PT treatments under supervision and supporting patient mobility to improve function after major injuries or illnesses.

Qualified candidates hold an Associate's degree from a PTA program, current PTA license, CPR certification, and Rehab or acute care experience is preferred. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Lancaster Rehabilitation Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 59-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.

How you'll contribute:

The Physical Therapist Assistant provides physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, assisting in restoring function and improving mobility.

• Administer physical therapy interventions as directed by the supervising PT.
• Assist in patient mobility and exercise routines.
• Monitor patient responses and report progress to PT.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment for treatment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and requirements

• Education: Associate’s degree from a PTA program.
• Experience: Rehab or acute care experience preferred.
• License: Current PTA license in state of practice.
• Certifications: CPR certification required.
