Job summary

Lancaster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house therapy team in Lancaster, PA. We offer full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities in a skilled nursing facility setting.

The PTA will provide skilled services under an RPT, contribute to treatment plans, and document resident progress in an electronic system. A current PTA license is required to practice in good standing, with a focus on high-quality, resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in good standing is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT).
• Implement and modify physical therapy treatment plans with PT guidance.
• Measure and document residents’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance.
• Monitor resident responses to therapy and adjust interventions as needed.
• Observe residents and complete progress reports.
• Accurately document treatments, resident status changes, and other required information.
• Communicate therapy needs and referrals to the Registered Physical Therapist.
