Job summary

PurposeCare is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver skilled PTA visits in patients' homes across the Midwest region. You will support real-life therapy and holistic care, working with caregivers to achieve meaningful progress in daily activities.

Applicants must hold a current PTA license in their applying state, with preferred experience in home health and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting. A valid driver's license and transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state where applying.
• 1 year of PTA experience preferred, home health experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled PTA visits in patients' homes addressing rehabilitation needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers and clinicians to ensure quality home-based care.
• Maintain patient progress notes and support holistic, real-life therapy goals.

Education

Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state in which you are applying

1 year of physical therapy assistant experience preferred (home health preferred)

Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity (up to 50 lbs)

Valid driver's license and transportation

Background check clearance

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state in which you are applying
• 1 year of physical therapy assistant experience is preferred - home health experience preferred
• Ability to perform tasks involving physical activity, which may include heavy lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, and standing
• Current Driver's License, vehicle insurance, and/or access to dependable transportation
• Ability to successfully complete a background check
