Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join our clinical team. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide physical therapy services to patients across all age groups in a hospital setting where the focus is on improving mobility and independence.

You will be responsible for following the treatment plan, applying approved modalities, and collaborating with PTs and nursing staff to help patients achieve optimal outcomes and higher quality

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current Georgia PTA license or compact privileges.
• BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups.
• Demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures and equipment.
• Follows treatment plans established by the physical therapist to enable patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
