Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to support rehabilitation services on a PRN basis. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will implement treatment plans and apply evidence-based modalities to help patients regain functional independence across all ages.

You’ll work in a collaborative setting with a skilled team, adhering to hospital policies, and contributing to patient outcomes while maintaining flexibility in scheduling.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program is required.
• Current Georgia PTA license or compact privileges required upon hire.
• BCLS certification required upon hire.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy for all age groups under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Performs modalities and treatments per the treatment plan to help patients reach independence.

Required Hours: PRN variable,2 days/16 hrs per month, 8 hr shifts, weekends and 1 holiday.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
