Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital in Atlanta, GA seeks a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support a Physical Therapist and deliver physical therapy services to a diverse patient population. You will implement treatment plans and assist patients toward the highest level of physical independence.

Requires an Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, GA licensure or compact privileges, and Basic Life Support. No prior experience is necessary; weekend and variable hours apply.

Qualifications

Required Hours: PRN variable,2 days/16 hrs per month, 8 hr shifts, weekends and 1 holiday.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
