Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join our rehabilitation team in Atlanta, GA. The PTA works under a Physical Therapist supervisor to deliver approved modalities and treatments, helping patients reach the highest level of independence.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant and current GA PTA license or compact privileges, plus BCLS. No prior experience is required.

Required Hours

PRN variable, 2 days/16 hrs per month, 8 hr shifts, weekends and 1 holiday.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
