Job summary

Symbria’s Rehab Team at University Place in West Lafayette, IN, is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support the geriatric population. Weekday and weekend coverage is needed to help patients achieve meaningful outcomes alongside the Physical Therapist.

You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, maintain documentation, and help ensure high-quality, patient-centered care in senior-living and post-acute settings.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Holder of a valid state PTA license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Experience in acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Physical Therapist to set goals and execute treatment plans.
• Maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation.
• Contribute to patient outcomes as part of an interdisciplinary team.
• Provide geriatric care in senior-living and post-acute settings.

Are you a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) with a desire to impact the lives of the older adult population? If so, our Rehab Team at University Place in West Lafayette, IN has a PRN opportunity available. Weekday and weekend coverage needed!

Responsibilities

As a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with the Physical Therapist to establish appropriate goals and creatively execute the treatment plans. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be required to maintain productivity standards and complete required documentation. More importantly, you will help your patients achieve critical outcomes while acting as a trusted partner to the community you serve.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• Hold a valid state license.
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
• Its great to have had acute care, long-term care and/or rehabilitation experience but not always required!
