HCA Florida University Hospital in Davie, FL is seeking a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join the inpatient rehabilitation team. You’ll deliver individualized exercises, assist with mobility training, and support treatment plans under supervision.

The role emphasizes collaboration with PTs, nurses, and aides, patient education, and documentation of progress. Eligibility includes LPTA license and CPR/BCLS certification, with opportunities for growth and scheduling flexibility.

Qualifications

• CPR/BCLS certification required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (LPTA) credential required.
• Associate degree in physical therapy or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility.
• Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function.
• Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care.
• Educate patients and families on use of assistive devices and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance patient experience.

• Working closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and the care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence
