Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital is opening a new facility and seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to join an inpatient rehabilitation team. You will treat adults 18+ with rehab diagnoses, assist in patient care, and implement treatment plans under supervision of physicians and physical therapists.

Responsibilities include evaluating progress, educating patients and families, and ensuring care aligns with capacity and tolerance.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital opened May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapy Assistant treats referred patients, ranging in age from 18 years to geriatric who are experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assists in patient care to assess their medical condition, functional capabilities and limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation. Administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patients’ capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician and Physical Therapist. Educate patients and families in appropriate physical therapy methods.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Physical Therapist Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
