Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our newly opened facility. You will perform components of OT procedures under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist, helping adult patients in inpatient rehab regain independence.

Required: OTA licensure and BLS certification (AHA/Red Cross). Strong communication, organization and time-management skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross (online certification not acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in achieving maximum functional performance under supervision.
• Record patients' responses to treatment and report outcomes to the OT.

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital opened May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Performs component of occupational therapy procedures and related tasks under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and in accordance with practices of occupational therapy. Patient population ranges in age from 18 years to geriatric experiencing rehabilitation diagnosis/conditions and/or conditions requiring rehabilitation. Assist patients in achieving his/her maximum functional performance while learning to live within his/her capabilities. Record patient’s responses to treatment and report treatment outcomes to the Occupational Therapist.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualification:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.
