Job summary

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital is opening a new facility and seeks a Physical Therapy Assistant to join an inpatient rehabilitation team. You will treat adults 18+ with rehab diagnoses, assist in patient care, and implement treatment plans under supervision of physicians and physical therapists.

Responsibilities include evaluating progress, educating patients and families, and ensuring care aligns with capacity and tolerance.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.

Responsibilities

• Treat referred patients aged 18 and older in rehab.
• Assist in patient care to assess condition and functional capacity.
• Administer treatment programs with goals set by physicians and PTs.
• Educate patients and families on physical therapy methods.
