Job summary

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital, opened May 2026, is seeking an Occupational Therapist to evaluate and treat patients to maximize independence in ADLs and cognitive and motor skills in an acute rehab setting. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, delivering therapy, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Minimum qualifications: state OT licensure and BLS; inpatient rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification is not acceptable.

Bradenton Rehabilitation Hospital opened May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary:

Independently evaluates, determines the treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate and rehabilitate acute or prolonged, skill or ability that has not yet is impaired in order to maximize function in the areas of activities of daily living, leisure/recreation, and productivity/work. Addresses dysfunction in psychosocial skills, cognition, and sensorimotor components. Interventions and procedures to promote or enhance safety and performance in activities of daily living (ADL), instrumental activities of daily living (IADL), education, work, play, leisure, and social participation.

Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable.

Desired Qualifications:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
