Job summary

Piedmont Henry Hospital in Georgia is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our patient-centered team. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will provide rehabilitative care across age groups and apply modalities and treatment plans to promote independence and recovery.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assistant, is licensed in Georgia (or holds compact privileges), and is prepared to start without extensive prior experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• No experience required.
• Current Physical Therapist Assistant license in Georgia or compact privileges; BCLS required.

Responsibilities

• The PTA provides physical therapy for all age groups under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Delivers modalities and treatment procedures per the treatment plan to enable patient independence.

Responsibilities

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups, demonstrating competency with treatments, procedures and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and hospital policy. Responsible for providing physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures as determined by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable the patient to reach the highest level of physical independence.
