Job summary

Sunset Villa Post Acute Long Beach Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist Assistant to assist the Staff Therapist with patient care in a post-acute setting. You will treat patients under the PT plan, document daily and weekly progress, and help maintain department operations while coordinating with nursing staff and families for discharge preparation.

Licensed PTA required; proficiency with Casamba and Point Click Care is preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed PTA in the state where employed.
• Ability to read and follow PT treatment plans and notes.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department.
• Communicate with supervisor about patient progress and plans.
• Instruct families or nursing staff in discharge preparation.
• Report issues with department equipment.
