Sunset Villa Post Acute in Long Beach, CA is seeking a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant per diem to support the therapy team and deliver patient-centered care under supervision of Physical Therapist.

Treat patients per PT plan, document daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes, assist with department maintenance, participate in care conferences, and communicate patient progress with the supervisor and care teams. Must hold CA PTA license and be proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Proficient in Casamba and Point Click Care.
• Ability to read technical procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients as directed by Physical Therapist.
• Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes.
• Assist in maintaining department.
• Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area.
• Communicate patient progress with supervisor and care teams.
• Instruct families and nursing staff in discharge preparation.
