Elliot Health System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for the Milford Outpatient Rehab Department located inside Hampshire Hills Athletic Club. 32 hours per week, on days with 2 nights until 7pm required; schedule otherwise flexible.

The PTA delivers rehabilitative services under the direction of the physical therapist, collaborating with the care team and adhering to physical therapy principles to support patient outcomes.

Formación

• 3+ years’ experience in outpatient orthopedics.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) by the NH board.
• CPR certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Follows the Plan of Care to provide skilled PTA services.
• Assesses patient status and communicates progress to the primary therapist.
• Performs treatments within scope of practice to attain patient goals.
• Instructs patients and families in home exercise programs and equipment use.
• Collaborates with aides and staff on the treatment plan and discharge planning.
• Documents assessments, treatment notes, and discharge summaries; submits charges.
