Job summary

Elliot Health System is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to join the Milford Outpatient Rehab Department, located inside Hampshire Hills Athletic Club. The role requires 3+ years in outpatient orthopedics, an accredited PTA program graduate, NH PTA licensure, and CPR certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program with an Associates degree.
• Licensed as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) by state PTA board.
• CPR certification required.
• 3+ years’ experience in outpatient orthopedics.

Responsibilities

• Follow the physical therapy Plan of Care to provide skilled services.
• Review goals and adjust treatment plan with PT.
• Assess patient status and communicate progress to care team.
• Perform treatments within scope to promote functional outcomes.
• Instruct patients and families on home program and devices.
• Collaborate with aides and staff on plan of care and discharge planning.
• Document assessments and progress notes; submit charges for services.
