Physical Therapy Assistant – Outpatient, PRN

The Physical Therapy Assistant, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provides physical therapy for all age groups. The assistant demonstrates competency with treatments, procedures, and equipment appropriate to the clinical setting and follows hospital policy. The assistant delivers modalities and treatment procedures as directed by a treatment plan established by the physical therapist to enable patients to reach the highest level of physical independence.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy modalities and treatment procedures to support patient independence. • Ensure treatment plans are followed and patient progress is documented according to hospital standards. • Maintain and operate treatment equipment safely and efficiently.

Qualifications
  • Associates degree from an approved Physical Therapist Assistant program.
