How You’ll Contribute

• Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, provide physical therapy services to patients needing to develop, recover and maintain physical mobility/function.
• Implement the treatment plan developed by the supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Seek consultation as necessary.
• Monitor patient responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicate patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Document services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assist with patient discharge planning and provide information regarding appropriate selection and use of adaptive equipment and community support programs.
