Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking a qualified physical therapy assistant to join our dynamic team. Working under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist, you will assist in implementing individualized plans of care and contribute to meaningful functional outcomes for patients.

You will support treating patients by following plans, documenting progress after each visit, and communicating with the Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every patient receives quality treatment resulting in excellent functional outcomes.
• With assistance of physical therapist, develop and implement physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Physical Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
