Job summary

MSA Home Health Coastal in Ridgeland, SC is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to provide in-home therapy across Ridgeland, Beaufort, and Jasper counties. You will work under a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength and independence in their homes.

The role requires an accredited PTA program completion, SC PTA license, and at least 1 year of PTA experience, with home health preferred. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Active South Carolina PTA license required.
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable PTA experience; home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver physical therapy services per plan of care by supervising PT.
• Carry out treatment protocols to improve mobility, strength, balance and function.
• Monitor patient response and communicate updates to PT/Case Manager.
• Maintain accurate documentation per agency policy and regulatory requirements.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

Employment Type: Part-Time (32 Hours/Week)

Pay Range: $36-$40

We are currently seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our Home Health team and provide in-home therapy services across Ridgeland (Beaufort, Jasper), SC.

In this meaningful clinical role, you’ll help patients regain strength, mobility, and independence under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. What You’ll Do:

• Deliver physical therapy services as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Carry out treatment protocols that support mobility, strength, balance, and functional recovery.
• Monitor patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the PT or Case Manager.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with agency policy and regulatory requirements.
• Assist with educating patients and caregivers on exercises and mobility techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.

What You Bring:

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active PTA license in the state of South Carolina (required)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of verifiable physical therapy experience (required)
• Previous home health experience preferred
