Job summary

MSA Home Health, a proud member of the Medical Services of America Inc., seeks a Part-time/32 Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for our Home Health patients in Sumter County and the town of Camden, SC. Responsibilities include providing PTA services under PT guidance and assisting with plan of care.

The role requires SC PTA licensure, a valid driver's license, and at least one year of PTA experience; Home Health experience is preferred. Generous PTO and 401(k) match are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid PTA license in SC.
• Minimum of one-year verifiable PTA experience.
• Home Health experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides physical therapy services under the plan of treatment developed by the PT.
• Assists physician in implementing and conducting treatment as outlined in the plan.
• Monitors patient response and modifies treatment as needed.
• Develops and maintains individualized patient care progress records.
• Assists with interpreting evaluation findings to patients and families.

• Provides physical therapy services to patients under appropriate guidelines and in accordance with the plan of treatment developed by the PT.
• Assists the physician in implementing and conducting treatment as outlined in treatment plan.
• Monitor patient's response to treatment and modify treatment as indicated in accordance with the plan of care and reports to the physician or client care manager.
• Develops, prepares and maintains individualized client care progress records with accuracy, timeliness and according to policies.
• Assists with interpreting and communicating evaluation findings to patients, family and other staff members.

Job Requirements

• Valid PTA license in the state of SC.
• Valid Driver's License
• Minimum of one-year verifiable physical therapy experience
• Home Health experience preferred.
