Job summary

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide home health visits in the Florence/ Marion, SC area. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients at home.

Applicants must hold SC PTA licensure, have completed a 2-year PTA program, and possess at least one year of supervised PTA experience. BAYADA offers comprehensive benefits and career development opportunities.

Qualifications

• SC licensure or certification required.
• Two-year PTA program from an APTA-approved school or equivalent.
• At least one year of PTA experience under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide home health visits to clients.
• Deliver rehabilitative care and skilled nursing as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to meet patient goals.

Education

Licensed PTA in SC

AS/AA PTA degree (APTA-approved program)

Proficiency exam (pre-1977 qualification)

One year PTA supervised experience

MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA has an immediate opening for a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant, Home Health to provide home health visits for our MUSC Health at Home by BAYADA Office in Florence/ Marion, SC.

As a home health care PTA, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Each Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) must:

• Have current licensure or certification in the state of SC
• Have graduated from a two-year college level program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association, as indicated by school transcript or diploma, or
• Have two years of appropriate experience as an Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and a satisfactory grade on a proficiency exam conducted, approved or sponsored by the U.S. Public Health Service when initial qualification occurred before December 31, 1977
• Have at least one year’s work experience under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist.
• Other activities, as requested.
