Job summary

Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC is hiring a part-time PTA to support physical therapy services for residents. The role includes identifying suitable patients for rehab, documenting daily participation, and ensuring MD orders are in place.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associates degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.
• Holds current license and/or registration in the state

Responsibilities

• Assist PT in identifying appropriate patients and referring them to rehab accordingly.
• Document patient participation and progress accurately; obtain PT co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders for treatments, recertifications and discharges are obtained.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as directed by Supervisor.
• Supervise junior PTA staff or students as needed.
