Kenansville Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Kenansville, NC is hiring a Physical Therapy Assistant. Under the supervision of a PT, you will provide comprehensive treatment to residents and support the rehab team.

• Graduate of an accredited university with a BA or Associate degree in Physical Therapy recognized by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under the supervision of a PT according to state practice guidelines.
• Document patient progress daily and obtain PT co-signature.
• Ensure MD orders are obtained for treatments, recertifications, and discharges.
• Attend facility and rehab meetings as needed and participate in scheduling of patients.
• Complete billing and bill patients ethically for physical therapy services rendered.
