Job summary

Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant to help patients improve mobility. New grads are welcome to apply, CT license preferred, with experience in skilled nursing.

Responsibilities include implementing care plans, instructing patients, documenting progress, and applying evidence-based practices to restore function and reduce symptoms frequency.

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a physical therapy assistant.
• Excellent knowledge of physiology and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Healthcare administration and documentation skills.
• Current CT license or in process of licensure.

Advanced Center for Nursing and Rehab is seeking a Full Time Physical Therapy Assistant/PTAto help patients improve their mobility and move forward. Ideal candidates will possess a CT license or be in the process of obtaining CT licensure and will have experience working in the skilled nursing environment.New Grads are welcome to apply!

Responsibilities

• Implement selected components of care and interventions in a technically competent manner
• Instruct and counsel patients effectively in exercises
• Identify patient’s needs and exhibit compassion, caring, and empathy for individual differences
• Recommend options, courses of action, or modifications in selected treatments ensure patient’s progress, safety, and comfort
• Apply the latest research related to restoring function, reducing symptoms frequency, and preventing injury
• Complete documentation to support the delivery of physical therapy services
• Perform selected data collection and obtain accurate information
• Measure performance and report on patient’s medical record
• Participate in patient status judgments
• Adhere to ethical and legal standards
• Ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge

Skills
