Job summary

Creative Solutions In HealthCare is seeking a compassionate Full-Time PTA to provide person-centered care in our in-house rehab team. You will assist residents to improve mobility, strength, and quality of life under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

The role requires Texas PTA licensure, good standing, and experience in SNF or long-term care preferred. Proficiency with Net Health is a plus; strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Active and valid Texas PTA license
• In good standing with regulatory agencies and licensing boards
• SNF or long-term care experience preferred
• Current knowledge of physical therapy treatment practices
• Experience with Net Health system preferred
• Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and restore function
• Provide skilled PT services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service and relay information to the PT
• Implement and modify patients’ plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment and adjust approaches with the team
• Provide clinical education to patients, families, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation complies with policies and regulations
• Attend required Rehab Director meetings

Join Our Team as a Full-Time or PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our in-house team of outstanding professionals. In this role, you will provide person-centered care to help residents achieve positive outcomes and improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life.

Your Impact as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)

• Administer medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing
• Provide skilled physical therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
• Respond to requests for service by relaying information and referrals to the Physical Therapist
• Implement and modify patients’ physical therapy plans of care under PT supervision
• Measure and record patients’ motor function, strength, and muscle performance
• Monitor patient response to treatment interventions and modify approaches as clinically appropriate in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
• Ensure documentation is completed thoroughly and timely in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations
• Attend required meetings as designated by the Director of Rehab
