Live Well Homecare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) working under the supervision of a Physical Therapist to restore or improve patients’ mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion.

The PTA will implement treatment plans, educate patients and families, and document sessions to support high-quality care and regulatory compliance. Collaboration with the team and ongoing professional development are essential to success.

Formación

• Required: high school diploma and an associate degree in Physical Therapy.
• Valid PTA license and BLS/ARC-BLS certification required upon hire.
• Strong communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.

Responsabilidades

• Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, and adjust goals collaboratively.
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals.
• Document treatment sessions per departmental protocols.
• Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and participate in meetings and training.
• Support a positive, respectful environment and foster teamwork.
• Participate in professional development and mandatory education to maintain licensure.
• Utilize equipment safely and efficiently, observing infection prevention protocols.

Associate degree in Physical Therapy
