Job summary

Dept of Rehabilitation in Portola, CA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join a rural outpatient clinic. You will implement PT plans, maintain progress notes, and support billing via EMR under supervision of a PT.

Qualifications

• Licensed in California as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Previous outpatient PT experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to relate to and work with patients, peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Effectively implements patient programs as developed by Physical Therapist.
• Maintains accurate patient treatment records and current progress notes.
• Submits billing via EMR for each patient treated according to policy.
• Participates in staff meetings, in-services and educational activities.
• Consults with the Physical Therapist regarding changes in patient condition or treatment plan.
