Tahoe Forest Health System seeks a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to support Inpatient Therapy Services in the SNF/LTC facility. Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will implement modalities and treatments per the Plan of Care.
Requires CA/NV PTA licensure and NPTE, BLS certification, and an Associate Degree. Competitive pay at $38.53/hour DOE; full-time, on-site, with opportunities to collaborate across the hospital.
This position will primarily support Inpatient Therapy Services in the SNF/LTC facility.

Rate of Pay: $38.53/hour + DOE
Under the direct supervision of the manager the licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) is responsible for providing patient care services consisting of implementation of modalities and treatments. These will be completed under the Plan of Care (POC) as documented by the evaluating Physical Therapist in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures and as indicated by licensing agencies in the State of practice (CA/NV). Supervisory Responsibilities: No Supervisory Responsibilities
Education: Associate's Degree from an accredited physical therapy assistant program, be licensed to practice and pass the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) for Physical Therapy Assistants, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy.
Required Licenses/Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
