Job summary

Dept of Rehabilitation seeks a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (CA) to join our rural hospital outpatient rehabilitation team. You will deliver skilled PTA services, implement plans created by the PT, and support patient progress in a community setting.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, EMR billing, and collaborating with therapists and staff to adjust treatment as needed. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to help our patients recover and thrive.

Qualifications

• Licensed in California as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Outpatient PT experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to relate to patients, peers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Implement patient programs as developed by the Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate patient treatment records and progress notes.
• Submit billing via EMR for each patient treated.
• Participate in staff meetings, in-services and other educational activities.
• Consult with the Physical Therapist regarding changes in patient condition or treatment plan.
