Job summary

Western Slope Healthcare Center in Placerville, CA is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. This role offers full-time or part-time opportunities, with per-diem options and DOE pay—$47.23–$52.31 per hour.

New grads are encouraged to apply and will work under a Physical Therapist to help residents achieve independence. The PTA will document care, support residents’ functional goals, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a warm Skilled Nursing

Qualifications

• Active CA Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligible to apply.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Familiarity with EHR systems such as Net Health or PointClickCare is a plus.
• Team player with strong communication skills.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatment for patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to facility guidelines.
• Help residents regain strength, mobility, confidence, and independence.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
• Educate residents and families while building meaningful relationships.
