Job summary

Blue Dove Home Health Services in Manassas, VA is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver high-quality, in-home rehab services. You will work directly with patients to implement treatment plans and support improved mobility and independence.

Physical Therapy Assistant

Salary Range: $70.00 To $75.00 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Physical Therapist Assistant will take care of patients in their homes and establish relationships that positively impact the quality of life of our patients.
• Evaluate and treat patients using the most current technology and practice using Kinnser web-based documentation system.
• Provide valuable input into the patient's care and treatment.
• Assess patient needs, planning for, evaluating, and modifying care to meet goals of Physical Therapy Interventions.
• Advising, consulting, and instructing members of the multi-disciplinary team in specific physical therapy modalities.
• Observing and reporting patient progress and/or changes in patient status to the physician and appropriate multi-disciplinary team members.
• Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Successful completion of a physical therapy program at a school of physical therapy approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice physical therapy, specific to the state of Virginia.
• At least six months of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification
• Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files, and windows; effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
