Job summary

Blue Dove Home Health Services seeks a Physical Therapist to deliver home health PT services, evaluating and treating patients in their homes. You will use Kinnser for documentation and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize care and outcomes.

The role requires Virginia PT licensure, CPR certification, and at least 6 months of PT experience, plus comfort with computer systems and online HR tools.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current and unencumbered license to practice Physical Therapy in Virginia.
• At least 6 months of Physical Therapy experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients using current technology and Kinnser documentation.
• Provide input into the patient's care and treatment.
• Assess needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care for PT interventions.
• Advise, consult, and instruct the multidisciplinary team on PT modalities.
• Observe and report patient progress or changes to physicians and team.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $85.00 To $150.00 Hourly

Physical Therapist (PT) will take care of patients in their homes and establish relationships that positively impact the quality of life of our patients.

Evaluate and treat patients using the most current technology and practice using Kinnser web-based documentation system.

Provide valuable input into the patient's care and treatment.

Assess patient needs, planning for, evaluating, and modifying care to meet goals of Physical Therapy Interventions.

Advise, consult, and instruct members of the multidisciplinary team on specific Physical therapy modalities.

Observing and reporting patient progress and/or changes in patient status to the physician and appropriate multidisciplinary team members.

Other duties as assigned

Physical Therapist (PT) Job Requirements:

Successful completion of a Physical Therapy program accredited with the American Physical Therapy Association and the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association preferred.

Current and unencumbered license to practice Physical therapy, specific to the state of Virginia.

At least 6 months of Physical Therapy experience preferred.

Current CPR certification

Must be familiar with general use and functions of the computer, such as user names and password concepts; internet; e-mail; navigation of computer desktop, including starting programs, using files, and windows; effectively use navigation buttons and tool bars; ability to self-manage online HR services and online training programs.
