Job summary

Creekside Center for Rehabilitation and Healing in Lakewood, TN is seeking a full-time Physical Therapy Assistant to join our geriatric-focused team in a skilled nursing facility. You must hold a state PTA license and be able to evaluate and treat independently, with a passion for helping residents improve their experiences.

As part of the PT team, you will assist therapies designed to improve mobility and relieve pain, aiming to promote overall fitness and wellness for residents.

Qualifications

• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
• Experience with geriatric populations preferred but not required.
• Ability to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist the PT with therapies to improve mobility, relieve pain and promote wellness.
• Support residents in functional activities to enhance daily living in a skilled nursing facility.

Looking for a full time talented and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility. Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
